  16. We've been using a modems for about two years that supports all the
  17. features you need except CID. Actually, CID IS supported by the H/W,
  18. not the S/W. This a dicontinued product still available in quantity.
  19. It's called the TYIN. 
  20. Main drawback: DATA speed only up to 14.4kbps (there are two
  21. versions.). No CID currently supported. For that we have come to the
  22. conclusion that even today, GOOD voicemail S/W comes without CID
  23. support. The reverse also applies (CID support doesn't mean it's the
  24. best VOICE/FAX S/W. No offence all developers please. This is just OUR
  25. opinion...:-) so we use an external unit which feeds into our PC
  26. database.
  27. Main features: VERY reliable and VERY good voice quality.
  28. S/W lacks some features, but is robust and mature.

  58. Katalina claims it does (quite clearly). Maybe you missed something in
  59. the DOC. Voiceguide also lists the TYIN modems as supported, although
  60. I haven't managed that yet. Has anybody? If so, please email us
  61. directly.
